Why iCode Princeton 💛 this event Art is the “A” in STEAM, and it’s where so much of the magic happens! Trenton Free Public Library’s Tiny Hands, Big Art invites toddlers and preschoolers (ages 0-5) to dive into a fun, interactive morning craft. Getting messy with colors and shapes isn’t just fun—it builds the critical fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and creative confidence that kids need to become future innovators. That’s the exact same maker mindset we foster in our studios!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️

• The “A” in STEAM: Great tech needs great design! The color theory and spatial awareness these little artists play with now will eventually help them design epic 3D models, colorful game levels, and sleek user interfaces in our older classes.

• Hands-On Maker Energy: We believe kids learn best by doing. Turning a blank piece of paper into a masterpiece teaches children how to take an idea from their imagination and make it real, just like our students do when prototyping and designing!

• From Tots to Techies: Today it’s paper crafts, crayons, and glue sticks; tomorrow it’s digital art, Roblox/Minecraft game design, and 3D printing! We meet creative kids right where they are, transitioning their love of building into our STEAM Junior program, where they merge their artistic side with beginner-friendly tech like block coding and Snap Circuits.
