The wait is almost over! While our brand-new campus at Grey Plaza takes shape, iCode Costa Mesa is already welcoming students to free trial classes! It’s the perfect low-pressure way for your child to experience what iCode is all about before we open our doors for good.
Try Before We Open
We know parents want to see it before they sign up for it. That’s exactly why we’re starting now: your child gets to sit in a real iCode class, work with a real instructor, and build something they’re proud of — all before our Harbor Boulevard campus is even finished.
Trial classes are running now at:

And once our full campus at 2200 Harbor Blvd, Suite B-130 (Grey Plaza) opens, we’ll bring the same hands-on classes into our permanent home — with dedicated learning hubs, 3D printers, robotics kits, and a computer at every workstation.
Pick the Right Belt for Your Child
iCode’s Belt Program is a structured, ten-year curriculum that grows with your student — from their first lines of code to professional-level skills. Right now, you can trial any of these five belts:
STEM Jr (ages 5–7)
A hands-on introduction to science, technology, engineering, art, and math for our youngest learners. Every class brings a new adventure theme — jungle safaris, space missions, dinosaur digs — packed with experiments, robotics, and creative builds that make STEM feel like play.
Foundation Belt (ages 5–7)
Using MIT’s Scratch programming language, students build their own games and animations while learning the fundamentals of coding logic, digital citizenship, and even basic electrical engineering through hands-on circuits.
Grey Belt (ages 8–12)
Perfect for kids who already love Minecraft and Roblox. Students progress from block-based coding to real Python programming, while exploring game design, 3D world-building in Roblox Studio, and digital citizenship.
Orange Belt (ages 9–12)
A deep dive into web development. Students learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design and build their own websites — plus photography, graphic design, and even PHP & MySQL databases along the way.
Green Belt (ages 10–13)
Take coding to the skies. Students learn Python programming by piloting drones, then explore data collection, sensors, and automation — building real technical skills through a genuinely exciting hands-on format.

What to Expect From Your Trial Class
Your child will:
- Work directly with a certified iCode instructor in a small-group setting
- Get hands-on with the same STEM.org-certified curriculum used in our full Belt Program
- Walk away having actually built or created something, not just watched a demo
