Q: My child has never played video games before, should they join iSports?
A: While prior experience provides certain advantages, our dedicated coaches and community approach will ensure that each player grows stronger over the 12-week season.
Q: Will my child be safe online?
A: When gamers play from home, they are playing people from all over the world. In iSports, players are only playing with other iSports players from across the iCode network. With our dedicated gaming environment and private competitive regions, your child have fun playing with kids their age.
Q: iCode is a STEAM education center. How does playing videos align with its core values?
A: Videos games often come with a negative connotation, but that is no longer the case with iSports! When played in a safe and welcoming environment, video games provide educational opportunities for players that can help fill gaps in social and cognitive skills. From the sportsmanship of winning and losing, to the collaboration and communication it takes to win, playing video games through iSports provides important benefits that can carry over into all aspects of the student’s life.
Q: How is my child going to play against all players in the iCode system?
A: iSports is broken down into 3 regions across the United States: The Pacific-Mountain region, Central region, and Eastern region. All regions act as isolated zones during the regular season play and results are monitored and presented to the entire league. During the post season, the top players are selected to play in a final tournament to determine the ultimate winner!
Q: Will my child win anything through iSports?
A: All iSports players receive custom jerseys and league swag for participating. The top 3 players across the iSports league will receive a prize!
