A new school year is a chance to build new skills
As families prepare for the new school year, many parents are looking for an after-school activity that is exciting for students and meaningful for their future. At iCode Southlake, Fall 2026 brings more ways than ever for children and teens to create with technology, develop confidence and turn their interests into practical skills. Fall Belts classes begin the week of August 24, and new opportunities in AI and competitive robotics are also launching this August.
The iCode Belts Program: a clear path for continued growth
The Belts Program gives students a structured pathway through coding, robotics, Minecraft and Roblox development, websites, mobile apps, Python, game development, cybersecurity, Java and other technology topics. Each Belt introduces age-appropriate challenges while helping students practice creativity, perseverance, collaboration and real-world problem-solving. Students can enter at an appropriate level and continue progressing as their skills and confidence grow.
AI Studio: personalized projects for students age 11 and older
AI Studio is designed for students who want more freedom to explore their own ideas. Each student follows a personalized project path based on interests, goals and experience. Projects may include games, websites, apps, robotics, digital design, creative technology and AI-powered tools. Students do not simply use AI to generate answers. They learn how to direct it, evaluate the results, troubleshoot problems and improve their work with guidance from an instructor.
VEX Robotics Competition Teams: build, code and compete
This fall, iCode Southlake is launching VEX IQ and VEX V5 competition teams. VEX IQ is designed for elementary students ages 7-10, while VEX V5 gives middle school students ages 11-14 a more advanced engineering and programming experience. Small teams will design, build, program, test and improve robots throughout the August-to-April competition season. Students also develop communication, strategy, leadership and teamwork skills as they prepare for tournaments. Check out more information HERE.
A more connected experience for students and parents
The new iCode Educational Suite is designed to connect enrollment, scheduling, student progress, projects, certificates, communication and personalized learning. Families will have greater visibility into what students are learning and creating, while students can see their progress through experience points, levels, achievements and project portfolios.
