With a passion for youth development and a rich background in educational programming, Ali brings a wealth of experience to the iCode Fishers team. As a Masters of Public Health graduate, Ali has spent the past eight years at the YMCA, where he advanced from a camp counselor to a Program Director responsible for overseeing before and after school programming in Warren Township. His commitment to creating opportunities for children to thrive makes him the perfect fit for iCode’s mission to inspire young minds through STEM education.

Ali’s journey through leadership roles at the YMCA has cultivated a strong desire to build community connections and help children discover new possibilities. “I am passionate about making community connections so that children can expand their awareness and experience different programs they may not know existed,” Ali shares. His dedication to youth development aligns seamlessly with iCode’s focus on empowering children through innovative STEM learning environments. Ali is eager to leverage his extensive experience to create programs that cater to all demographics, especially those that may not have had access to such opportunities before.

As iCode Fishers continues to grow, Ali’s leadership will play a vital role in expanding the organization’s reach within the community. His vision for iCode Fishers includes building partnerships with local organizations and schools, increasing accessibility to STEM education, and introducing children to real-world career potentials through hands-on learning. “The ability for children to explore different types of STEM environments and learn about real-life opportunities that allow for future career potentials is something I am deeply passionate about,” says Ali.
