Why we love it πŸ’› Space is the ultimate frontier of STEM! The Princeton Public Library is launching an incredible, interactive “Astronomy Academy” session entirely focused on the mysterious physics of black holes. Attendees will dive into the mind-bending astrophysics of intense gravitational pulls, stellar collapse, and the bending of light. Led by a graduate student from Princeton University’s Department of Astrophysical Sciences, this session includes hands-on demonstrations to help students visualize the fabric of spacetime. We absolutely love astronomy events because they push students to conceptualize massive, invisible forces and understand the fundamental laws of physics that govern our universe!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton πŸŒˆβš™οΈ You can’t simulate space without a rock-solid physics engine!

  • Digital Physics & Gravity: Black holes are all about extreme gravity. In our Game Design and Unreal Engine Tracks, we teach students how to code custom physics engines! They learn how to manipulate digital gravity, write collision logic, and code gravitational pulls so their video game environments react realistically to the player.

  • Simulating the Impossible: Coding allows us to explore things we could never touch in real life. By learning advanced programming languages like Python and JavaScript, our students can actually build software simulations of planetary orbits, velocity, and physics experiments to test their wildest theories.

Join the fun, then keep the momentum going at iCode πŸŽ’πŸš€ Explore the cosmos at the library, then bring that world-class curiosity to iCode Princeton where we teach you how to code the universe!
