Why we love it π Kids shouldn’t get to have all the hands-on fun! The Lawrence Library is hosting an incredibly relaxing “CrafterNoon” specifically designed for adults. Led by Librarian Bekka, attendees will get an hour to unplug, relax, and create beautiful paper flower art and greeting cards to celebrate the spring season. All supplies are provided, and absolutely no art experience is necessary! We love community events like this because they give busy parents and adults a dedicated space to destress, tap into their creativity, and build something tangible with their own two hands.

In our Digital Arts and Web Development Tracks, we teach this exact same concept as User Interface (UI) and visual hierarchy! A well-designed card is just the physical version of a beautifully coded, easy-to-read webpage.
