Why we love it 💛 Great software is useless if it doesn’t look good! The Princeton Public Library is hosting a focused, one-hour digital design class in their Tech Center covering Canva. Led by instructor Dana Treichler, participants will learn how to create attention-grabbing print and digital promotional materials, from posters to social media graphics and digital zines. We absolutely love digital graphic design workshops because they teach participants how to balance text, color theory, and negative space to communicate information clearly and beautifully!

• User Interface (UI) Design: When a user opens an app, they immediately judge it based on its design. In our Web Development Track, we teach older students how to write HTML and CSS to create stunning digital interfaces. Understanding graphic design tools like Canva gives students (and parents!) the creative eye needed to build websites that look professional and modern.

• Digital Communication: Whether you are designing a flyer or a YouTube thumbnail, you are communicating data visually. We teach our students in the YouTube Creator and Digital Arts Tracks how to use digital design tools to brand their projects, market their ideas, and share their tech creations with the world!
