Why we love it πŸ’› Science isn’t just about reading textbooksβ€”it’s about making real-world discoveries! The Ewing Library is teaming up with the brilliant minds from the Science Outreach program at Princeton University to host a fantastic “Science Saturday” morning for early elementary students. We absolutely love community events like this because they give young kids the incredible opportunity to learn directly from university-level mentors, allowing them to test boundaries, ask questions, and experience the magic of STEM in a highly engaging, hands-on environment!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton πŸŒˆβš™οΈ The scientific method of predicting, testing, and observing is the exact foundation of computer programming!

  • Hypothesis and Testing: When a scientist mixes two elements, they predict what will happen next. At iCode, we call this “Prototyping”! In our STEAM Junior and Programming Tracks, we encourage kids to make hypotheses about their code. They learn how to test variables, observe the digital outcome, and adjust their logic until their program runs flawlessly.

  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Learning from experts makes all the difference! Just as this library event brings in Princeton University students to guide the kids, our iCode labs are led by expert instructors who actively mentor, troubleshoot, and inspire our young tech enthusiasts to push the limits of their creativity.

Join the fun, then keep the momentum going at iCode πŸŽ’πŸš€ Experiment with the pros at the library, then bring that world-class curiosity to iCode Princeton where we turn scientific discovery into lifelong tech innovation!
