Why we love it 💛 It is time to learn from the pros! Princeton University’s Science Outreach team is hosting their massive, signature “Spring Into Science” community event right in the Frick Atrium. Older elementary and middle school students are invited to campus for a huge day of tabletop experiments, hands-on demonstrations, and the chance to speak directly with Princeton University scientists about their research. We absolutely love this event because it gives kids direct, tangible exposure to high-level, Ivy League academia!

• From the Lab to the Laptop: Whether a scientist is studying biology, chemistry, or physics, they use software to map their data. In our advanced Python and Java Belts, we teach older students how to write the exact same syntax that university researchers use to build data algorithms, track variables, and automate their experiments!

• The “Maker” Mindset: A university lab is the ultimate playground for innovation! By participating in these hands-on demonstrations, kids learn how to ask questions and test hypotheses.
