Why we love it 💛 Math is so much more than just numbers on a page! The Princeton Public Library is hosting a fantastic weekend STEM Circle dedicated entirely to geometry, symmetry, and patterns. Guided by high school student instructors from PRISMS (Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science), kids will explore advanced math concepts through hands-on games and physical building activities. We absolutely love youth-led programs like this because they take subjects that can sometimes feel intimidating and turn them into highly interactive, tactile puzzles!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️ The geometry and spatial reasoning kids practice while building physical shapes are the exact same concepts they need to design 3D worlds!

• Game Development & 3D Modeling: If your child loves working with shapes and symmetry, they will absolutely thrive in our Game Development and Design tracks! We teach students how to apply geometric logic to build custom 3D structures, program object collisions, and map out massive digital worlds in platforms like Roblox, Minecraft, and Unreal Engine.

• Algorithmic Patterns: Recognizing patterns is the core of computer science. In our Python and Java Belts, kids learn how to identify repeating patterns in their data and write “loops” (a block of code that repeats automatically), turning basic math into high-level software engineering!
