🧱 Early Engineers: Little STEAMers + iCode Junior! πŸ§ͺπŸ’»

Event: Little STEAMers

When: Thursday, April 23, 2026, 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Registration opens April 16!)

Where: Mercer County Library – West Windsor Branch (Activity Room)

Event link: MCLS – West Windsor Branch Events

Who it’s for: Toddlers (Ages 2–4 with a caregiver)

Why we love it πŸ’› It is never too early to start thinking like an engineer! The West Windsor Branch is hosting a fantastic, hands-on “Little STEAMers” morning specifically geared toward toddlers. Each week, little ones and their caregivers get to build, experiment, investigate, and have fun while exploring a brand-new topic spanning Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We absolutely love messy, tactile community events like this because developing early fine motor control and cause-and-effect reasoning is the absolute foundation for all future digital design and programming skills!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton πŸŒˆβš™οΈ The cause-and-effect logic a toddler practices when building a tower or mixing colors is the exact same logic they will use to write their first computer program!

  • Tactile Tech for Little Minds: If your child loves hands-on discovery, they will absolutely thrive in our STEAM Junior Program. We specialize in tactile learning for our youngest innovators, using physical tools like Snap Circuits, logic puzzles, and introductory robotics to teach early engineering without keeping them glued to a screen.

  • From Play to Programming: Once they master the basics of physical building and spatial awareness, we transition them into our beginner-friendly block coding modules. Here, they learn how to build and program their own digital worlds using simple, visual drag-and-drop logic that perfectly matches their developmental stage!

Join the funβ€”then keep the momentum going at iCode πŸŽ’πŸš€ Start with a morning of magical discovery at the library, then bring that world-changing imagination to iCode Princeton where we turn big ideas into lifelong tech skills!
