Every great engineer started out by building with blocks! The West Windsor Branch is hosting a fantastic LEGO building challenge, and this month’s theme is the “Secret Garden.” Kids are challenged to use their imaginations and a massive pile of bricks to design their own hidden sanctuary. We absolutely love focused LEGO building because it is the absolute best way for elementary kids to develop spatial awareness, practice fine motor skills, and learn the basics of structural integrity while adhering to a project prompt!

Tactile Logic & Spatial Reasoning: Before a child can type lines of code or click and drag a digital 3D model, they need strong spatial reasoning! In our STEAM Junior Program, we bridge the gap between physical and digital, starting kids with tactile logic puzzles, snap circuits, and simple block coding that perfectly complements their growing dexterity.

Level Design & World Building: If your child loves designing “Secret Gardens” and intricate physical spaces, they belong in our Game Design and Roblox Tracks as they grow! We teach students how to take their spatial awareness and use professional software to build, render, and program their own custom 3D environments.
