Why we love it π Every great engineer starts by building with blocks! The MCLS Hopewell Branch is hosting an incredible, hands-on afternoon of structural design with their open Lego Club. Kids are invited to use their spatial logic, problem-solving skills, and imagination to build physical prototypes, fun designs, and shapes alongside their peers. We absolutely love free-build maker events because they teach the foundational mechanics of weight distribution, balance, and physical architecture in a highly tactile, low-pressure environment!

Structural Integrity: Before you can build a robot, you need to understand how pieces lock together to create a sturdy frame. In our STEAM Junior and Hardware Tracks, we teach kids the exact same principles of structural integrity using LEGO, motors, and snap circuits!

In our Python, Roblox, and Scratch Tracks, we teach students how to snap foundational “blocks” of code together to build massive, complex digital games.
