Why iCode Princeton 💛 this event Pi Day is the ultimate geek holiday, and we are absolutely here for it! We love any event that makes math tangible, interactive, and wildly fun. Whether kids are measuring the circumference of actual pies, playing logic games, or just enjoying a sweet slice of dessert, celebrating math helps remove the intimidation factor. When math becomes a game instead of a chore, kids unlock a whole new level of creative confidence!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️

• Math is the Language of Code: Every time a video game character jumps or moves across the screen, it’s powered by math. When our students build custom games in Roblox, Minecraft, or Construct 3, they use X and Y coordinates, variables, and logic to bring their worlds to life!

• 3D Design & Geometry: You can’t 3D-print a perfect sphere, design a futuristic helmet, or build a robot wheel without understanding circles. The magic of Pi is baked right into the CAD software our students use in our 3D Design & Printing tracks!

• Robotics & Engineering: When our VEX Robotics teams program a robot to turn exactly 90 degrees or calculate how far it will travel based on the circumference of its wheels, they are using the exact same math principles celebrated on Pi Day.
