Why we love it 💛 Grounds For Sculpture is one of our absolute favorite places to explore the “A” (Art) in STEAM! In this fantastic indoor Family Open Studio, the walls are being completely transformed into a vibrant paper garden. Kids and families are invited to drop in and design their own unique paper flowers by assembling colorful, pre-cut components. We absolutely love community art projects like this because they encourage kids to use their hands, experiment with color and form, and collaborate on a massive, room-sized creative vision!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️ The way a child layers physical shapes to create a flower is the exact same logic they will use to build digital graphics!

• Layers and UI Design: When you build a paper flower, you have to stack the petals and leaves in a specific order. This is the exact foundation of “layering” used in digital graphic design! In our Content Creator & Digital Media tracks, kids learn how to use professional software to stack and manipulate digital layers to design stunning 2D artwork and User Interfaces.

• From Physical to Digital: Did your child love creating a beautiful flower? We teach students how to bring those artistic concepts into the digital world! In our Game Development Track, kids learn how to balance aesthetics with logic, designing their own custom 3D structures, vibrant textures, and beautiful landscapes in platforms like Roblox, Minecraft, and Unreal Engine.
