Game Mechanics (Hitboxes & Physics): When a teen perfectly times a jump to dodge an attack, they are instinctively interacting with a digital “Hitbox”! In our Game Design and Python Tracks, we teach kids how to program these exact mechanics. Students learn how to build collision detection algorithms, writing the code that tells the computer exactly what should happen when two digital objects collide on screen.

Input Logic (Controllers): Pressing a button on a controller to make a character jump is a real-time hardware-to-software command. In our Scratch and Roblox Tracks, we teach students how to write this “Input Logic.” They learn how to assign specific actions to keystrokes and button presses, transforming their passive coding projects into fully playable, interactive video games.
