Why we love it 💛 March is officially NJ STEM Month! Co-hosted by the New Jersey STEM Pathways Network and the Research & Development Council of NJ, this month-long celebration highlights the incredible science, technology, engineering, and math initiatives happening across our state. From local library maker days in Mercer County to massive robotics competitions and statewide tech kickoffs, this month is all about proving that STEM is for everyone. We absolutely love any initiative that celebrates curiosity, brings community awareness to the importance of tech education, and shows kids that being an innovator is a superpower!

How this celebration aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️ We don’t just celebrate STEM in March; we live and breathe it every single day! The core goal of NJ STEM Month is to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, and here is how we take that statewide inspiration and turn it into real-world skills:

• 💡 From Consumers to Creators: NJ STEM Month is all about showing kids what is possible. At iCode, we give them the tools to build it! Whether they want to become a Game Developer, a Digital Artist, or an IT Professional, our progression-based Belt Program ensures kids (K-12) have a structured, fun, and supportive path to mastering the technology of the future.

• 🤖 Hands-On Engineering: STEM isn’t meant to just be read about in a textbook; it’s meant to be built! In our VEX Robotics and Advanced Hardware tracks, kids get hands-on experience wiring sensors, calibrating motors, and writing the Python/C++ code required to make their creations move and interact with the physical world.

• 🌍 Future-Ready Careers: NJ STEM Month highlights the incredible career opportunities right here in our state. We prep our older students for those exact futures by teaching advanced, industry-standard languages like Java and Python, diving into complex data science, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
