Calling all LEGO fans! The Twin Rivers Branch is bringing out the bins for an awesome afternoon of LEGO Free Play. Kids are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild, building everything from towering skyscrapers to custom vehicles. We absolutely love unstructured LEGO time because it is the absolute best way for kids to naturally develop spatial awareness, practice fine motor skills, and experiment with structural integrity without the pressure of a step-by-step manual!

Tactile Logic & Spatial Reasoning: Before a child can type lines of code or click and drag a digital 3D model, they need strong spatial reasoning! In our STEAM Junior Program, we bridge the gap between physical and digital, starting kids with tactile logic puzzles, snap circuits, and simple block coding that perfectly complements their growing dexterity.

Structural Engineering: Figuring out why a LEGO tower falls over teaches a child about weight distribution and gravity. As our young students grow, we transition those early engineering instincts into our Robotics Tracks, where they learn to build sturdy, motorized chassis and program complex hardware!
