πŸ€– Virtual Circuitry & Programming: Arduino Workshop + iCode Hardware! βš™οΈπŸ’»

Event: Robotics & Arduino Workshop Series

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Registration Required – Space is limited!)

Where: Mercer County Library – West Windsor Branch (333 N Post Rd, Princeton Junction, NJ)

Event link: MCLS West Windsor Events

Who it’s for: Kids & Teens (Ages 8–13)

Why we love it πŸ’› You don’t need a soldering iron to build a working circuit! The MCLS West Windsor Branch is hosting an incredible, hands-on workshop led by the MidKnight Inventors (FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1923). Students will learn basic electronics and programming skills using TinkerCAD’s free online Arduino simulator. We absolutely love simulation events like this because they allow young engineers to safely build virtual circuits, experiment with code, and see exactly how hardware and software communicate before they ever touch a physical wire!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton πŸŒˆβš™οΈ Simulated environments are the proving grounds for real-world robotics!

  • Hardware & Electronics: In our Robotics and Hardware Tracks, we teach kids the exact same principles of electrical flow, circuitry, and Arduino programming. Understanding how an Arduino board acts as the “brain” of a robot allows our students to program lights, sensors, and motors for their own mechanical creations.

  • TinkerCAD & 3D Prototyping: At iCode, we use TinkerCAD extensively! Not only do we use it to map out electrical circuits, but we also teach our students how to use the software to design and render 3D models. They learn how to take the virtual prototypes they build in TinkerCAD and print them out using our in-lab 3D printers!

Join the fun, then keep the momentum going at iCode πŸŽ’πŸš€ Build your first virtual circuit at the library, then bring that world-class curiosity to iCode Princeton where we teach you how to build the physical robot!
