Why we love it 💛 Every great tech founder started with a single, simple idea! Just a short drive away in Hatboro, PA, the community is hosting a phenomenal “Kids Market” to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in local youth. Kids ages 5 to 17 have the unique opportunity to set up a booth, run their own small business, and sell products to real customers. We absolutely love youth business events like this because they teach invaluable life skills—financial literacy, project management, and the confidence to bring a creative idea into the real world!

How this event aligns with iCode Princeton 🌈⚙️ Having a great product is only half the battle; you also have to know how to sell it!

• Pitching & Soft Skills: When kids run a market booth, they have to confidently explain their product to strangers. At iCode, we teach these exact same soft skills! After a student builds a game, an app, or a robot, they must stand up and “pitch” their project to their peers, explaining their code and their creative process.

• E-Commerce & Web Development: If you want to scale a small business today, you need a digital storefront! In our Web Development and Design Tracks, we teach older students how to write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They learn how to build beautifully designed websites and user interfaces that could host their very own future e-commerce businesses!

• Data & Variables: Running a business means tracking inventory, calculating costs, and measuring profit. We teach our students how to build arrays and track shifting variables in Python, giving them the exact analytical muscle needed to program financial tech or manage data!
