Why we love it 💛 The sky is not the limit, it’s just the beginning! The Hickory Corner Branch is hosting a fantastic weekend workshop called “Aerospace Adventures with Annika.” Designed to inspire young minds to pursue careers in aviation and aerospace, this hands-on morning will feature fun crafts and engaging presentations teaching kids the basics of how airplanes and drones take flight. We absolutely love aerospace events because they blend the magic of flight with the hardcore science of physics, aerodynamics, and mechanical engineering!

• Drone Programming: If your child loves learning about how drones fly, they will absolutely soar in our Drone Programming Track! In our advanced coding belts, we don’t just teach kids how to pilot drones with a controller; we teach them how to write the actual Python code that allows the drone to fly autonomously, navigate obstacles, and land safely.

• Mechanical Engineering: Understanding thrust, lift, and drag is essential for any aerospace engineer. We take this exact same focus on physical science and apply it in our Robotics Labs. Students learn how to build sturdy, aerodynamic chassis, calculate weight distribution, and use motors to conquer physical challenges!
