Why we love it 💛 There is no STEAM without Art! To celebrate our beautiful planet, the SCLSNJ Warren Township Branch is hosting a fun, hands-on “Earth Day Craft” session. Families with children ages 4 to 10 are invited to drop in during the two-hour window to create a special, Earth-themed physical craft to take home. We absolutely love drop-in, craft-based events like this because they encourage young children to practice their fine motor skills, engage in unstructured creative expression, and physically build something to celebrate an important day!

• The “Maker Mindset”: Whether you are building a physical craft out of paper and glue or coding a digital project using loops and variables, the creative problem-solving process is exactly the same! At iCode, we teach our students the “Maker Mindset”—the ability to take a blank canvas, brainstorm a creative idea, test different solutions, and build a finished product from scratch.

• UI/UX Design & Creativity: Technology isn’t just about raw math; it requires a creative eye! In our Game Design, Digital Arts, and Roblox Tracks, we teach kids how to merge the strict logic of coding with beautiful, creative visual expression, ensuring their digital projects look just as incredible as they function. Practicing physical art is the best way to develop this eye for design!
