Don’t see a time that works? Tell us when you can come and we will let you know when a slot opens.

The least technical club we run and, for some students, the most transformative. Students develop an idea, work out who it is for, build a brand around it, and then stand up and pitch it to a panel.
Public speaking is a skill that compounds for decades, and very few children get structured practice at it. This club is that practice, wrapped in something they actually want to do.
Tracks
Students enter at the level that matches their experience and move up as they are ready.
- Introduction — finding an idea, working out who it is for
- Intermediate — branding, identity, pricing, positioning
- Advanced — the live pitch panel, and handling questions on your feet
What students actually learn
- Entrepreneurship — spotting a problem worth solving
- Branding and visual identity
- Public speaking and presenting under mild pressure
- Taking a hard question without falling apart, which is the real skill
A brief, as students receive it
Pitch your idea in ninety seconds to someone who has never heard of it. They will ask you who would pay for this and why. You need an answer that is not ‘everyone’.
We give the requirements, not the steps. Working out how is the lesson — and the reason students can explain what they built when they get home.
The question parents actually ask
“My child is shy. Will this be miserable for them?”
Shy students are often the ones this changes most, and we do not throw anyone at a panel in week one. The pitch is built in stages — to one person, then to the group, then to the panel — so by the time it matters they have already done it three times.
Where it leads
Shark Tank pairs well with Digital Arts for students who want to design their own brand, and it is the club that most improves how students present in every other one.
Questions
Do students need a business idea before they start?
No. Finding one is the first two weeks, and it is a taught process rather than a spark they are expected to arrive with.
Is there a real pitch night?
Yes, at the end of the advanced track. Families are invited, and the panel asks genuine questions rather than polite ones.
When does the term run?
The Fall 2026 Term runs Sep 28, 2026 to Dec 7, 2026 — 10 sessions, one hour a week, at 73 Central Street, Wellesley.
What does it cost?
$395 for the ten-week term. A second club in the same term is $325. Materials are included.
How is a club different from the Belt Program?
A club is one hour a week for ten weeks, in a larger group, focused on one topic. The Belt Program is two hours a week across a ten-month year, in a group of about six, with a written progress report every month and a capstone project. Plenty of students do both.
What if we need to miss a week?
Tell us in advance and we will place your child in another group that week where the schedule allows. Vacation weeks are already excluded from the term dates above.
